Even sitting at your desk at home, there are certain tools you use. Maybe a pencil and paper for doodling or drawing up an idea, perhaps the chair you sit in, or even the desk you are sitting at. Point being, unless you are out in the wild, completely stark naked, you are going to be using a tool of some sort.
Being a more expeditionary blog than a tool catalogue, I will be showing off and talking more about those items that make it easier to get "out there". Lightness, compactness, multiuse, or just plain cleverness will be their description and reason for being here. By foot, or boat, or even by truck, a tool that does not do it's job well, takes up too much space, and weighs too much does not deserve to be out there. Desktop computers and chainsaws need not apply.
